Obama's inauguration - availability? |
|
I want to go to Obama's inauguration but I don't have a ticket. Is it true that there are no hotels in DC, Maryland and WV that week? If you don't have a ticket, is it worth going (how close will you be), and how early should you get there.
How many people are expected to be there?

that are reasonable. It is 23 miles to Fairfax - first metro stop to DC.
Yes, it will definitely be worth it. There will be no way that can run 4-5 million people through security or collect tickets. They didn't even collect tickets at Clinton's where there were only a small fraction of what's expected for this one.
What I envision is the mall being full with millions of revelers. Should be a once in a lifetime experience !!
