Minner to make announcement today on Biden senate seat

Minner to make announcement today on Biden senate seat
Governor Minner will have something to say this afternoon about Delaware's U.S. Senate seat left vacant by Joe Biden's election as Vice President.

Minner will make an announcement at 2:30 this afternoon. Two names heavily floated as possibilites are Lt Governor John Carney and Biden's son, Attorney General Beau Biden.

The younger Biden is serving in Iraq and has said he's not interested in being appointed to the seat. He says he plans to fill out his military obligation.
