To quote grantcart "there is a broad consensus ... that she would make an excellent Republican nominee for President in 2012". Show your support here.

All visiting Republican turkeys welcome.

and we should ALL send $$$.

<...>
"It’s amazing what can be brought to life with some good old fashioned community organizing. What all this means is that Alaskans for Truth is now an official Political Action Committee, registered with the Alaska Public Offices Commission. And they have issued a call to action.
Rather than to try to figure out how to get our creature to pull something out of his non-existant pocket, and read an eloquent call to action, I’ll just give you a link to the Alaskans for Truth website, which spells it all out. What do they want?
Censure of the Governor for violating the Alaska Executive Branch Ethics Act.
Penalties for the state employees and Todd Palin who ignored subpoenas.
Hold hearings on whether Governor Palin and her husband committed perjury in their sworn statement to Timothy Petumenos.
An independent investigation into Attorney General Talis Colberg’s alleged witness tampering in the Troopergate investigation."

40. unpossibles---This really blew me away....
It was almost a SNL skit. She's going on about how BRUTAL campaigning is, and the guy behind her is stuffing a turkey in the chute.......

Then she starts talking about programs going on the "chopping block" while he's stuffing another turkey in the chute.

This was just so "morbidly" funny, I got one of those laughing spells and couldn't stop.

Poor turkeys.

Olbermann is supposed to put the whole interview on tonight--with comments, I'm sure.

25. O P E R A T I O N P R I N C E S S
I've been pushing this for about 2 months now.. feel free to spread the good idea. If it works, I only ask that you give Rush and I split credit on 11/07/12. :)

Operation Princes:

1. Thank Rush Limbaugh for the idea currently known as "Operation Chaos"
2. Re-Name Operation Chaos to "Operation Princess" 2012
3. As Obama runs un-opposed in 2012, Dems cross over and vote for Sarah Palin in the '12 Primary
4. Dems sit back and watch heads explode as Fiscal Cons, Social Cons and Neo Cons tear each other apart when more "qualified" candidates like Mitt, Mike, Jeb, Newt, Colin, etc. don't win nomination
5. Enjoy popcorn during the three debates between Palin & Obama in October, 2012.
6. Watch Obama beat Palin by 70% - 30% on 11/06/12

67. No - we'd need to start in 2011
In Connecticut, if you switch parties, you need to do it at least 6 months prior to the primary. I'm sure other states are similar.

I knew a die-hard Republican who hated Hillary so much that he re-registered as a Democrat in 2007 so he could vote against Hillary in the Connecticut primary in 2008. That is dedication!

57. as funny as it would be
I don't think I could do it.

First off, if something backfired and she won, I could never live with myself for having helped.

Secondly, as much as I like the idea of the use of their tactics in order to show just how awful they are, I cannot admire or respect dirty politics.

I'd rather win, and keep winning, by showing the American people that we are far better than the Republicans are, and let democracy take care of the rest. This also assumes that we make the elections more transparent also, to prevent cheating.

59. Honestly..
I don't have any intention of really doing it.. which is why i'm talking about it now.. it'll die down and be long forgotten about in 2011.

But, I'd like to have some Freeper who has a small portion of their brain that still works - see it.. freak out, and forward it to Rush... just so he can see how much of a fucking idiot he really is.

I'd like for the right to be TERRIFIED at the thought of Palin actually being their "leader". Right now they're just entertaining her because they don't think she'd actually win. If they see a plan (that was their brainchild to begin with) that would take the few Fundie Christians and a whole lot of bored Democrats and get her pushed to the top of the ticket... well perhaps the Republican Party would be smart enough to have someone sit down with her and say "Sarah, get the fuck back to Alaska and stay there".

Worse case scenario is that it actually happened and dems did help her get to the top of the ticket.. but frankly I don't think it will go nearly that far.

 then I say that and just dream about the first Obama/Palin debate... *sigh*

There will be at least hundreds of thousands, me included, doing exactly this in 2012. There is no way she could win and there is no reason not to do it. I actually expect more state GOPs to close their primaries for the exact reason of preventing this.

For a small investment now, you can be accosted in 2012 and shakendown, have your family threatened at gunpoint and have a team of lawyers attempt to take your house & children unless you forfeit your "illegally obtained" domain name.
