Motherfucker. Obama Will be President In Two Months. |
|
Edited on Mon Nov-24-08 06:38 PM by MannyGoldstein
Just heard Obama speaking on the radio, a clip of his press conference, and it struck me hard: this is our President in two months. This is the person who will lead our country. He's not a phony or a liar. He doesn't view the Middle Class as something to bleed dry for his patrons. He's comfortable with being very smart and thoughtful, and can write well.
Of course I'm concerned by some of Obama's appointments - but, given today's urgent need for experience, I'm not certain that better choices can be made.
But, holy cow, Obama will be President. This is living history. We did it; now, let's all work to finish the job.

4. I absolutely believe in Obama's motives. |
|
I believe he genuinely went in there to help people, and to make the world a better place. That and he will always listen to those that disagree with them, and treat them with respect. Granted, I may not always agree with the way he chooses to do things, or the people he puts in his Cabinet, but I don't question his motives.
That alone will help us a great deal and make things much better after he's been in office for a year or two.

8. No he won't. He'll lose the election. America isn't ready for a black president. |
|
While I'd have no problems voting for him, too many people I've talked to said they simply won't vote for a black guy.
