and a very respectable change of momentum it would be. There is no doubt in my mind Obama wants to pull that off, together with you.

How far you can pull the wagon back to the left afterwards is another matter. DU average opinion and Obama's don't coincide. But he said he would listen to people with differing opinions - and the way he adressed the question about delaying the Bush* tax cut repeal in his press conference was refreshingly straightforward. He actually reiterated his campaign promise. Hell, he REMEMBERED it.

Now, there's quite a bit I want and hope for, that isn't part of his agenda. But at least now it is no longer a pipe dream to entertain such thoughts.
