Without further study, we have no clear idea yet what happened to Freeperville. Are you suggesting it's a virus of some sort? And the symptoms are extreme emotions of either too happy or too sad?

who have been watching them for years is that JimRob banned anyone who disagreed with him and his merry band of far right nuts.At one time there were sane republicans there who were not the moral majority\focus on the family types.FR is JimRob's personal fiefdom and those with half a brain resented it and were given the boot.Free Republic actually used to have the best Evolution/Creation debates I've read.the thread would go into the thousands with some very smart evolutionist slaying the religious nuts with ease. Of course,the science believers among them were given the boot eventually.
Free Republic is a pretty good mimic of the republican party,their sanest got the boot and the patients took over the asylum.
