No income taxes for anyone over 65? Did I hear that?

I thought I remembered Obama saying that one time, but maybe it was someone else. If that was him, is it still the plan?

I'm still trying to catch up on today's news though so I don't know if that part has changed or not.

This proposal will eliminate income taxes for 7 million seniors and provide these seniors with an average savings of $1,400 each year. Under the Obama-Biden plan, 27 million American seniors will also not need to file an income tax return.

Lord I hope it happens. WHAT A DIFFERENCE that would make to so many people. It sure would ease my mind about retirement.
