Obama to hold another news conference Wednesday

http://www.reuters.com/article/politicsNews/idUSTRE4AO7IW20081125

CHICAGO (Reuters) - President-elect Barack Obama will hold his third news conference in as many days on Wednesday, an aide said.

The news conference will focus on the economy, the aide said. In the first two news conferences, Obama -- who takes office on January 20 -- named his picks for top economic positions in his administration.

1. A President with excellent communication skills.....it's what we
needed. January 20th can not get here soon enough. I wish Bush, et al would resign.

2. Bully Pulpit galore......
Thus far we understand there will be a large packet of stimuli including intrastructure work to put main street back to work.

and the Budget will be gone over line by line (the GOP should be clapping of glee on this announcement, but of course, they won't)

short, concise and clear.

What a difference and election makes!

13. I think these pressers are meant to do just that...
in part.
calm people down a bit and hope it reflects on the market as well.

who can't feel better about things when they listen to a real adult with a whole brain talk compared to That thing we've had to suffer with...

11. He does realize there will be ball games on Thursday, right?
Just kidding. Put him on 24/7, I'd watch it.

I thought thou today he's a very good salesmen. There was no real reason to do a press conference to introduce those two guys, there were not the real reason behind it. I'm sure he's well aware that whenever he announces anything viewed as remotely helful to the economy, it helps the stock market. It also gives him another chance to get his message out there.

Would not surprise me one bet if he announced a press conference where he will name his "chief dog walker." Well then take five minutes to talk about how great the dog walker is and then say, "and while we're here, I want to talk about my plans for readying the auto industry for the production of more fuel-efficient vehicles by 2011."

Sell it son! :)

12. I love the way Obama wants to stay in touch with the people.
Keep us abreast of what's going on. Telling us the truth. Very refreshing.
