Dear Breeze,

Elect Jim Martin

Contribute to fund our Get Out the Vote Campaign.

We just got some good news from Georgia. A poll released yesterday shows progressive

Democrat Jim Martin only two points down in the runoff election for Senate.1

Now, we have one week left to put him over the top.

President-elect Obama has already recorded radio ads for Jim Martin and hundreds of volunteers
on the ground are working every day to get out the vote. This race is too important to sit out.

We have over 450 volunteers signed up to make calls for Jim Martin into Georgia tonight.

Will you back them up with a contribution?

CONTRIBUTE $35 TO FUND OUR GEORGIA GET OUT THE VOTE CAMPAIGN

https://secure.truemajority.org/o/2/t/21/p/7002/tmpac?donate_page_KEY=98

This runoff election will be our last chance to win a 60th Senate seat for the Obama agenda for change.

If we get to 60 seats, the right wing will no longer be able to use a filibuster to stand

in the way of health care for all, an end to this war, and a real economic recovery package.

The right wing is putting all its resources into holding on to this Senate seat.

Now, we're fighting back with the power of our national grassroots movement for change.

Contribute right now.

Thanks for all you're doing.

-----------

For the past two years Republicans have blocked progressive legislation in the Senate by refusing to let it come to a vote. If we get to 60 seats, the right wing will no longer be able to stand in the way of health care for all, an end to this war, and a real economic recovery package.

There are thousands of newly registered voters in Georgia who share our values but need to be reminded about the special election for Senate and the importance of voting for change. Volunteers on the ground in Georgia are already making calls every day - now we're backing them up with the power of a national movement for change.

PLEASE CONTRIBUTE TO FUND OUR GET OUT THE VOTE CAMPAIGN

4.  We need every senate seat possible - 59 is certainly better than 58 seats - Donate!
Edited on Tue Nov-25-08 01:57 PM by LaPera
Republicans will be making a play for many Dem seats in 2010....Let's not give them this one now....this race is very winnable for the Dems...another Dem seat for six years, instead of a republican for six years, the same republican (Saxby Chambliss) who absolutely stole the election six years ago, as much stated on the record testimony has confirmed.

Let's do ALL we can for a Democratic win in Georgia, which is and has been the most slimy electronic voting machine, republican corrupt state in the country, bar none, (and this includes the very corrupt republican states of FL, OH, AL & AK)!

Help Jim Martin (D-GA) become our next Dem US Senator...He needs ALL our help....As you easily see from this link. http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2008/11/22/georgias-dem-senate-candi_n_145733.html

6. Even if I had agreed with Chambliss on issues (which I don't), I would still want him gone based on
the vile smear campaign against a *TRUE* war hero, Max Cleland.

It would be so awesome if the majority in Georgia will recognize that a Senator Jim Martin would do a lot more for them and this country than the shameless one.

26. My birthday is December 2nd - that would be a great present for me
even though I'm from Connecticut. Just getting Chambliss out of the Senate would be a victory, even if we don't get 60.
