Richard Wolffe owned Nohra O'Donnell: she DID NOT PLAY Obama saying he got 52% and a mandate
but when he said that 46% of the population did not vote for him and that leaders can be humble and work with the other party...Then she said something like she was glad that he recognized the fact that it was something a narrow victory (paraphrasing). Wolffe said: it would be interesting to compare the attitude that Bush showed in 2004 when he had less than half the advantage Obama got and he did not hesitate in claiming a mandate and not showing any inclination to work with the Democrats. She was silent. Changed the subject. Just great.

13. Civics lesson for Nora: The Popular Vote per se doesn't elect a President.

She can ask "Gore", as she ALWAYS referred to the former Vice-President (remember her flow-charts of his lawyers?? I do. She's a "rhymes with 'rich'," as Bar would say).

19. nope! winning only gets you the title, the office, the salary.
being able to get your prefered legislation passed, that's a whole nother story.

that's where things like margin of victory, which states you won, which states you can win again in 4 years, etc., matter.
