Want to know why Palin will never be president?
Edited on Wed Nov-26-08 01:57 PM by Drunken Irishman
Florida.

Forget all the other reasons which will end her campaign, this is the simplest one. For those who actually believe she's got what it takes to win nationally, she won't win a damn thing without Florida. No Republican can afford to lose Florida and if you don't think McCain picking her didn't hurt their chances there considerably, you weren't paying attention.

I welcome Palin's run in 2012 because I know it will result in the easiest re-election bid for a presidential candidate since Reagan in '84.

RUN, SARAH, RUN!

7. But I think it had a far bigger impact there.
Since prior to the Palin pick, he was struggling there.

He would've won regardless of who McCain chose, but it could have been the thing that turned the state blue.

4. My husband is so excited about Palin running...
We are both staunch Democrats, but he is salivating for a Palin run in '12--because he
thinks any Dem would blow her to smithereens, and he enjoys the comedy Palin provides
the nation.

We live in Iowa, and he wants to start an Iowans For Palin group. He wants to be
President of the club. He wants to hold fundraisers at our house and he can't wait
to canvass for her.

He's so excited about Palin being the nominee. The man is giddy. When he brings
it up, he rubs his hands together with glee and shouts, "Oh honey...it's gonna be
so great!! Palin!! Palin!!"

I think he's lost his mind, but I can appreciate what he's saying.

9. She is soooo irritating........
I would rather have a tougher campaign against a reasonable candidate (if there is such a Repub) than be subjected to her irritating manner for a whole election season.

8. I know exactly what you are saying.. On election day
Edited on Wed Nov-26-08 02:23 PM by Sebass1271
i was canvassing for the Obama campaign as a volunteer. We were trying so hard to knock on thousands of people's doors and make sure they had voted or were going out to vote that day. I remember particularly one person. A man in his 50s.. I knocked on his door, it was already 2:00 pm. election day, i introduced myself and asked him if he had voted and that if he had not, if he needed any assistance to the polls.. the man responded, "yes, i voted this morning" I wanted to know who he had voted for, but I didn't ’t ask, I stayed there quite staring at him smiling and thanking for voting (pretty general)..i waited for him to tell me, when he suddenly said, “ I just couldn't do it”, “ I just couldn't vote for that woman”.. I voted for Obama.

Obviously my heart celebrated to this news, and Thank him a million times and told him how much Obama appreciated his vote!.

He kept saying, I couldn't vote for that woman. She is crazy.

That’s when I knew then, Sarah Palin was a great help to us. : )

14. I'm in North Florida....She's the reason Duval was so close ....
With anyone else on the ticket, Duval would have been what it always is - bright red ! Not to take anything away from the job Barak and all of us Dems did up here to GOTV, but Palin tipped this one way to the Blue side for us.....Rags....

15. I saw a Palin 2012 sticker today-in Massachusetts.

It was on a beat up minivan driven by a white guy in his 50s going about 10 miles under the speed limit in the middle lane. :eyes: Needless to say, everyone was blowing by him.

18. Because she's as clueless as a box of rocks
A complete joke who doesn't know she's a joke, who thinks she's a superstar because the media shower her with attention. Let her live in delusion and think she can win the presidency in 2012 - the rest of us are laughing our asses off and loving every minute of it.
