for a non incumbant. It stands at 9,124,522 and climbing which is the 6th largest ever. It's about halfway down on 538

7. I still recall the dire predictions of McGovern like defeat

As for where all those posters have gone... most of them are still here (in their original form or as sockpuppets) screaming
"Hillary Hater!" at every imagined slight or real criticism of the Clintons. Others are fulminating at PUMA websites. And still
others seem to suffer from selective amnesia and deny ever saying anything damning about President-Elect Obama. ;)
