8. I hope he is serious about it, I heard he will use some Obama staffers
I think Obama's campaign and win pushed him into wanting to do it, he got his idealism back (I hope).

10. He probably also has information
about Specter's primary challenger or whether Specter is running.

13. Jennicut, you really went after Traitorman, agreeably so, IMO, so
I don't get why Tweety gets a free pass. Not that the two are in equivalent positions, but.......

Is it b/c his coverage of Obama was favorable....that he finally showed a backbone?

Because he voted for Bush and gave Kerry an absolutely hard time and voluntarily replayed the Howard Dean scream over and over and over again until there was nothing left of him......

Don't get it....

15. I come from a family of Repubs, I am the only Dem
my brother is actually to the left of me and doesn't even vote. But my parents and all their friends grew up Repub,I grew up in a very fancy rich CT town and they were all Repubs too. I guess I believe that some people can change and if given the chance to change I would not step on their fingers if they are reaching up for someone to pull them to the light so to speak. I can't get anywhere with my own parents but if others realized they made a mistake in voting for Shrub, like Tweety learned, then perhaps its okay to "let them in the fold". I grew up thinking that Repubs held the answers but then really watched the 1992 election at 16 and realized how wrong my parents were. With Lieberman, he is my Senator and he changed for the worse. He has turned his back on the Dems time and again but I actually could care less (unlike others here) if he was kicked out of his chairmanship. I think Obama has the upper hand in that relationship and he made Loserman look real, real small and petty.
