Poll question: PBS Friday Night Talk Show Lineup Vs. Sunday Morning Talk Show Lineup
I'm just curious which of these two is most peoples favorite politcal talk show lineup?

PBS Friday Night:

Sheilds and Brooks analysis on "News Hour"
Washington Week w/ Gwen Iffil
NOW on PBS
Bill Moyers Journal
Charlie Rose

Sunday Morning Talk Shows:

Face The Nation
Meet The Press
This Week w/ George Stephanopolis
Fox News Sunday
The John Mclaughlin Group
The Chris Matthews Show

I didn't include CNN's "Late Edition" because that's on cable.

I really love both of these lineups. I think Sunday mornings are more flashy with their roundtables and big name contributors, but I think PBS Friday nights are more informative and in depth. For my money these are the best politcal lineups on television and cable punditry is far far behind. If I had t choose, I think I would go with PBS, simply because you get so much out of it, but it's great to wake up on Sunday, make a cup of coffee, and enjoy the morning talk shows.

Anybody else have a preference out of these two political show lineups?

2. Michael Pollen?
Ok, I'm a gardener. And that's my nerd humor. BTW, his segment was great. Moyers is twice the quality of any show.

60 Minutes deserves a nod, too. Their climate coverage is great.

3. True, but 60 Minutes is a night show, so they're a little seperate from those others.
And yes, Bill Moyers was excellent last night. It almost made not want to order a pizza for today's college football games, but i've since changed my mind. College football pizza today, grocery shopping tomorrow.

5. love my Friday night PBS news shows
I get Foreign Affairs too, and McLaughlin Group on Friday nights too, and early Sat morning I get Inside Washington and reruns of all the Friday evening shows. Real happy with my PBS station.
