Just a cool & cute little note about my Indian friend Raj & his son re: the election |
|
I worked with a great Indian guy for a few years, and I knew he had a green card but didn't know if he was working toward being a citizen or not. I just got a note from him yesterday saying that he'd become a citizen in Oct., 'Just in time to vote for Obama', so I thought that was great in both respects.
The other thing is that he said his 22-month-old son started saying "I can!" recently. :^) I love it. How many other toddlers have started saying 'Hope' or 'Change' or 'Yes we can'? And of course we know some people have already named sons 'Barack'...

1. "Barack" as a baby name has already had an impact across the globe. |
