7. I really liked when Turner suggested rebuilding our Aging Electric Grid... |
|
Solar panels in the Desert... wind turbines on the great plains. It makes so much sense?
Turner said it would cost about a $1 Trillion. We have spent over $8 trillion (so far) on the Banker Bailouts ... and what do we have to show for it?
Why do Republicans hate ANYTHING that makes sense? I guess it is 'just a matter of persective'.
If Ted Turner had not had the perspective to further Satellite Delivery and Cable TV... the Republicans would still be watching their Black and White TV with rabbit ears.

8. Remember that huge blackout in the northeast in 2003? |
|
The current administration was all talk about upgrading our grid. Like always, it was all talk, no walk, when it comes to actually investing in our country. :eyes:

10. So true. As long as Halliburton and the Big Oil Companies... |
|
.. are allowed to control this country.. we will NEVER be allowed to escape from foreign oil.
It has nothing to do with technology or the availability of parts. It has nothing to do with drilling or refining.
It is all about corruption in Washington, D.C. that keeps us tied to constant war.
