Buzzflash interviews Kucinich
Check it out at

http://www.buzzflash.com/interviews/04/01/int04002.html

Here is a taste;

Kucinich: "The public is becoming increasingly aware of the attempts of the media to try to declare the election over before it's started, and to do so on the basis of polls, money raised and endorsements."

2. The most interesting part was the intro
where they said that none of the other candidates wanted to have anything to do with an interview with buzzflash, but that DK staffers were very interested in it. Buzzflash is well known in the Progressive community, but of course the vast majority of Americans have even heard of it.

11. I'd say the campaign did good work....
:) :) :) :)

"The answer is simple: we sent out invitations for interviews to several of the candidates and Kucinich was the only one who responded -- and his staff was tenacious in ensuring that this interview took place. Hey, we like that kind of treatment!"

Peace
DR

12. Umm. Yeah. I read that part. But did you ever think about why.....
...the other candidates never bothered to interview? Maybe someone in their staff was knowledgeable enough to know that buzzflash readership was so low that it was not worth the time. Don't get me wrong....I read buzzflash, but there comes a time when you have to get competitive.

14. They are afraid of being labeled progressive?
I believe that is a possibilty.

16. ummm so what?
the readership is small, but who cares he still gets his message out, and when that message is completely ignored by most every major media outlet sometimes you have to deal on a smaller scale

20. Not sure, but I believe BuzzFlash is read and quoted in DC
just as Henwood's Left Business Observer is. The 'movers and shakers' read them both.

3. great interview
BuzzFlash: Do you foresee a united Democratic Party against Bush by next November, regardless who the candidate is?

Rep. Kucinich: You know it's easy to call for unity. It's hard to achieve it if you have candidates who want to keep us in Iraq, who want to maintain a for-profit healthcare system, and who are going to continue on this path of corporate globalization. We could all celebrate party unity but it's going to be hard to mobilize people if this Democratic Party ends up being a pathetic mimicry of the Republican Party.

9. "Democratic Party... a pathetic mimicry of the Republican Party"
What an important quote.

"Democratic Party ends up being a pathetic mimicry of the Republican Party."

This is exactly why we are not going with the media on this one. We cannot let them make us choose between the evil of two lessers again!

GO DENNIS, great interview!
