I think people shouldn't ask people to rec their own threads....it's cheesy...

If you want to conduct a poll, conduct a poll on a subject - asking people to rec a thread also doesn't really give people any oppty to really express disagreement with the OP.

I'm so beyond tired of these making the top of the greatest list and consuming the front page with opinion. If you want a poll then post a poll, the rec system is not for polling.
