What is this guy's OJ thing? Didn't Keith mention last night that he was a "would be OJ Simpson assassin." Yeah, Shuster tried to be professional in the beginning, and then just lost it with the "EVERYONE thought she was unqualified!" Heh. Yeah, she mentioned NYT and USA Today as her news sources, but was still extremely vague in the answer. And which "personal responsibilty" did Palin take that Zigler was referring to? I haven't watched the whole thing, just saw the "Perhaps I was too flippant, BUT".

had asked about his little beef with Nate Silver, how come Sarah Palin did not watch the full Couric interview if she says she knows it is "edited", how she thinks the press Caroline is getting is unfair, and why she appeared on SNL if she thought Tina Fey was exploiting her....I think Shuster just couldn't help himself and started yelling.

would have been why conservative columnists were calling her unqualified if it was specifically a "media bias" issue against Republicans. But again, Zigler probably dismissed him as soon as Shuster asked if characterizing the treatment of Palin by the media as an "assasination" was the best choice of words.

First of all, I don't know John Ziegler. So, I can't make any judgments as whether he is a decent guy or a jerk. However, he has my respect because he clearly doesn't seem to be taking our on-air fight personally. Ziegler has accepted our invitation to come on again tonight in our 6 p.m. show. That's right, "round two," live on 1600. Both of us have had the afternoon to retreat to our corner and prepare for "the sequel." TV arguments can be a bit tricky in that there is a temptation to filibuster, interrupt, and etc. But, I have a feeling the fireworks tonight about Sarah Palin will be just as interesting as they were this morning.

25. What consistently irritates me about the framing of all of this

is that Palin is constantly attacking Obama, like she was running against him. Caribou wasn't running against Obama, she was running against BIDEN.

The main argument they used against Obama (no executive experience) could have also been used against McCain.

So yes, Shuster is right; these morons are trying to prep her for 2012.

And she will fail. Miserably. But not without first using scorched earth tactics, to whip the skinheads into a frenzy. Hopefully the country will be strong enough to fight it.
