A question for Clark supporters...
To appease Some Dean supporters who thinks they are the only one's asked loyalty questions.

If Wesley Clark is not the Democratic nominee, will you support who is?

I will start, Being a Clark supporter I will stand behind and vote for whoever the Democratic nominee is.

1. dems unite how about you ask everyone?
Edited on Thu Jan-08-04 01:45 AM by JohnKleeb
We were all asked that like last week by I think Dean supporters or maybe it was a question for everyone in general. I am not a Clark supporter but a Kucinich one and I will give my support.

2. How can I support the Democratic nominee if
Edited on Thu Jan-08-04 01:47 AM by Clark Campaigner
they want to take the party in the wrong direction?

I'm loyal to traditional centrist Democratic principles, not the name "Democrat".

This nomination is about the future of our party every bit as the election will be about the future of our nation.
That is something very heady to think about.

5. I know you're just one person
but you're helping to confirm Dean people's suspicions that it's the Clark people who are recklessly in love with their candidate.

16. Telltale sign
So you would vote Bush, stay home? If Clark's support doesn't come from true Democrats, then perhaps the concern about Clark's loyalties is somewhat legitimate. He could move Right in concert with his past Republican behavior and his supporters wouldn't blink.

8. I sure as hell can answer better than imhotep
I'm a Clark supporter who will support Dean if he's the nominee. It's that simple. And imhotep, I resent being told Bush represents my ideals, which is exactly what you did.

7. Please consider deleting your post IMH
This is a thread for Clark supporters to express their Democratic loyalty, and even as a fervent Dean supporter and no big fan of Clark, I still feel your post is very counterproductive.

11. If Clark is not the nominee
I will support and vote for whomever does get the nomination, with the possible exception of Lieberman. I honestly cannot guarantee that I would support Lieberman but it doesn't look like there's much risk of that happening.

I also find it very insulting when it is suggested that I support repug values, but insulting people seems to be the sole purpose that some people have for even being on this board.
