I am so choked up with pride in my country

and gratitude I can hardly contain myself.

I am actually working from home today so I have been able to watch CNN all day. Wanting desperately to mark the occasion, I took two dozen white and chocolate cupcakes with red, white and blue sprinkles on top to the car dealership when I took my car in for service. All I said to the folks in the service department was that today is a great day to be an American.

"Free at last, free at last -- praise God almighty we're free at last!"
