I wish the talking heads would just shut up and LISTEN
to the music.

They couldn't shut up during the concert at the Lincoln Memorial. One female on CNN messed up "In the Name of Love". I think she called it "Say the Name of Love".

And today, they started talking during the chamber piece with Yo Yo Ma and Itzhak Perlman, a clarinetist and a pianist.

GRRRRR!!!!! :banghead:

I say this as a lifelong musician who gets quite frustrated when they talk over the *&^&%$# music!!

5. NBC in HD was terrific
No commentary at all. I turned the volume way up for Yo Yo Ma and Perlman ... the clarinetist was amazing too. Simply beautiful.

I really wanted to see the whole thing in widescreen HD and I was happily surprised Williams and Brokaw kept quiet until the entire ceremony was over. That was much appreciated.

6. Seriously , that was an Epic, moving piece of music.
Reflective and, with great depth and soul!
Perfect for the occasion.
To me, It sounded like the struggles of America the last 40-50 years.
Amazing, considering it was done in 15 degree weather!!!
Y. Pearlman, Yo Yo ma are the best in the business!
O should invite this Quartet to the WH
