Another week of taking our "eyes" off the Bushball. |

This campaign season is turning into a series of elevated sometimes hysterical issues that take our attention away from Bush's record and stances. Someone is being played here, the media, the public, us? If someone is being played, there is a player behind it all.
I hate give Bushco any credit for being that smart but between Zellgate, Swift boats, Memogate, Vietnam and even Kitty Kelly, in the aggregate, it all diverts attention from the issue. The issue is George W. Bush - his record, actions, decisions and ramifications of those decisions while he has been in office.
The rest of this drama media crap is keeping the light and heat off of Bush. We here have been guilty of some of this behaviour, hanging onto and promoting "gotchas".
It is Bush's record that should be the ONLY thing anyone talks about. Really, that is enough to sway the electorate.

The result has been the BIG distraction du jour. I'll bet there will be another once steam runs out on this one. Someone is working this.
