Just to clear things up:

I wasn't trying to defend Lieberman per se but rather wondering about the motivations of an attack on a horse that's so over. I don't care what any polls say have been freeped - Lieberman never had a chance, doesn't have a chance and will never have a chance.

So I really was wondering why bother beating the proverbial dead horse when there some real horse races out there?
