I've never done this before. But life is about taking risks is it not?

I know that people seem to pay attention to everything I do. Big or Small. Ridiculous or Sublime. So I am hoping they pay attention to this:

I am supporting General Wesley Clark for President.

Not only as a "celebrity" but as an American citizen and as a mother. I want my children to grow up with the same opportunities that I had - to know and understand what's going on in the world and to travel that world safely and with pride.

Who is better qualified to understand the complex issues that face the world today? Who is better qualified to understand the domestic issues that affect the poor, the underprivileged and the middle class then Madonna? This endorsement has certainly changed MY mind.

I liked her when she first came out, not her music, but I thought she was funny and sassy, and original. When she hit it big, and I learned that her concerts were lip-synched, I lost respect for her, but I still thought she was okay - I just don't like insipid pop songs.

But when I heard this girl, from Detroit, speaking with a fake English accent and trying to act refined on some talk show, I thought, PUHLEEZE.

And now? When she's trying to tell me what my country needs, as if she has a fucking clue, she makes me want to vomit.

Tomorrow will be Mike Savage right? Why no noise about this recent endorsement? It's going to carry a lot more weight than Madonna's. Just think all the racists who thnk immigrants are stealing their job are going to vote for a man who plans on shipping jobs to India. What a beauty!
