2. He's said that though he admires the way Arizona overcome their underdog status
The Steelers are the team closest to his heart next to the Bears.

4. As someone who has no dog in this fight, cause I don't particular care about Football,
Edited on Sun Feb-01-09 04:09 PM by FrenchieCat
I'll use whatever I can find to pick a side. Obama rooting for the Steelers, helps me want to as well. Arizona as a State, having produced McCain, are not that impressive to me.

Again, I speak as someone who is forced to watch the Super Bowl because of family and friends. :)

edited to add.... ;)

6. And this is how some of the world's stupidest arguments begin...
Like "OMG - Pat Tillman was a Cardinal! You hate Pat Tillman! Why do you hate the troops! You're anti-American!"

See the stupidity of it all now?

Let football be football - melodramatic, violent, and fun. Not completely unlike Iron Maiden, I suppose.

11. (shrug) Spontaneous analogies: sometimes they work smashingly....
and sometimes they're like bacon-tinis.

9. Did I mention that I don't give a rats ass about Football, nor the real outcome?
Thought so. :)

7. I don't watch football either. The only reason I know who is playing
is because they sent me some Superbowl items for work. I have noticed that I sold out of the Steeler's items right away and the Cardinals items were barely touched. Oh and I live in VA so it is not PA loyalty or anything like that....

5. Except if were the Bears vs. the Steelers
Then he would be rooting for "Da Bears". And since it is against the rules for this avowed Packers fan to root for those guys, I'd be rooting on the Steelers.
