8. yep. but, how do you give one an ethical hall pass (Geitner) and |
|
explain not giving one to Daschle? Although, at least Geitner's was related to an unusual tax situation and made an error that others had made.

5. He needs to bow out gracefully.... |
|
I would have voted to stand by him if he had been honest with the Obama campaign (and the public) about his tax problems months ago instead of waiting until a scandal was inevitable. It shows a lack of character and candor. Obama -- and we -- deserve better.

6. I agree. Also thought it just had to be some kind of quid pro quo |
|
appointment anyway. And I don't blame Obama if he had to do that to get elected. But now, is Obama's way out.

He earned over 200,000 in the last two years giving talks to exactly the industries he is supposed to ummm...reform....
Conflict of interest?
He is "deeply embarrassed" that he didn't pay his taxes? Hey....I hate paying taxes but I'd be in a heap of trouble if I didn't pay that much money...and...he should be too. That's fraud.

20. I noticed that. I think they were making the point that Geithner was partly |
|
responsible for this Wall Street mess to start with. He and Larry Summers. I think things are going to get much, much worse.
I worked at the IMF and we were told to make arrangements to have our income taxes taken out. I refuse to believe that Geithner simply "forgot." And I definitely don't believe that Dascshle simply "forgot." It's bullshit!! x(

Excellent option, and I'm glad you did include it.
If they didn't fully disclose, the deal was that they couldn't play.
Suddenly, they recall that gapping fraud.
Wrong is wrong.
The test is this:
Would I object to a Repub if they did it. If I would, they're eliminated from Dem play.
Sorry, ya'll - walk the talk is my motto.
