Two years of doing nothing but campaigning, day after day. Giving the same speeches over and over again, and putting up with idiotic media banter and mini-"scandals" on a routine basis.

Candidate aside, party aside, you have to give them all a lot of credit for perservering.

And it starts again in a couple of years . . .
