Just askin' because it sure seems like it.
I just wondered if I was the only one feeling this way watching the threads go by.

1. What was it Blago said, It's not the noise of your enemies, but the silence |
|
of your friends?
For some reason, that stuck with me. Not that Blago said it, but that the message sort of stuck with me.

8. I guess not everyones pet project has |
|
been successfully accomplished by the Dems yet and it's time to get bitching. Some tools around here seem to thrive on complaining. I cleaned out my ignore list once after the primaries then again after the election. I really think it's time to start repopulating it again. Funny thing, I bet most of the people in it would be the same ones in there during the primaries and the election.

12. Standard reaction for DU. |
|
Whenever there's a disappointing day.
Unfortunately DU doesn't do well with acknowledging disappointment and moving on. You've got the rose-colored glasses types who take any negativity as proof for lack of loyalty. And then you've got the folks who go overboard and take every setback as a fatal blow to the Democratic party and progressive politics.
Mix those two elements together and this is the kind of shit storm that develops.
Personally, I feel that today has been a disappointing day. But then again I always believed that such days would be inevitable when trying to fundamentally change Washington while simultaneously keeping it functional.

14. It really depends. Doesn't it? |
|
I've come in here after being gone for just one day, and sometimes think the sky is falling only to find out Obama didn't chew his food 23 times, but instead he chewed for only 22 times on the 32nd bite.
Or other times when you feel your sitting on some news and no one knows about it, but yourself.
