Next, I think Obama needs to throw out the Defense Dept. nominee who got the Ethics waiver |

I don't understand why the Administration gave an ethics waiver for Bill Lynn, a Defense Department nominee who is a former lobbyist. It just doesn't make sense why you would make an exception for one person and not others. Everyone should be held to the same standard. If Obama truly want a lobbyist-free and ethical administration, this guy needs to go.

but it's too late to go back on any of them. What, does he say, "Yeah, I guess it's a problem, so I suppose I didn't really care about ethics last week?"
His best bet at this moment is to just insist they're special cases who have been thoroughly vetted, and not issue any more.
