REPUBLICANS have to HELD ACCOUNTABLE for this economic mess!
Isn't it predictable that the Republicans will stand up there and tell downright lies about the economy and blame Obama.

All key Democrats need to come on TV every day and point out it was the Republican-controlled Congress that got us into this mess in the first place. They need to tell the true story about deregulation. Name names! Bush, as leader, left everything to drift over the last 8 years allowing the greedy pigs to prosper.

Republicans have to be held accountable for the failing economy and ofcourse we should also be hauling them in for the crimes that they committed over the past years. There's still time!

2. The ordinary voter doesn't know the truth and they should be told!
I asked several people over the last few weeks why the economy has been failing and they said they didn't know the exact reasons.

7. The GOP should be pushed into the background if they are going to be obstacles
obstacles meaning those who chose to dirupt progress and are incapable of bipartisanship.

3. What makes you think key Democrats will be allowed on TV?
It's still 2 to 1 Republicans on the corporate media networks, and I doubt that's because Democrats are all camera-shy.

5. I agree - every Democrat should be screaming the truth in unison.
From Obama all the way down the line, they should do a Blagojevich and appear on EVERY talk show, news show, etc., all stating that the Republicans created this mess with their lack of regulation and oversight, and that the tax cuts we've had in place obviously don't work, since the economy is so bad right now.

Demand the Republicans explain how more tax cuts will work, when the current ones in place have only seen more lost jobs, more closed businesses, and higher foreclosures.

Tell America that more of the same will just make our current situation worse, and that the Republicans by delaying the stimulus bill are only making any chance of recovery a longer, slower, more difficult process.

And they need to repeat, repeat, repeat until America gets it.

8. They were. That is why the Democratic Party
increased its number in both the House and Senate and gained the Presidency.

9. We are ceding the high ground today
by trying to pass this stiumulus plan. You can't very well claim the other guy screwed up at the same time that you are foisting this indefensible plan on the public.

If this thing passes in anything close to its current form, we will have given away one of our strongest arguments. No one is going to want to hear how badly Bush screwed up.
