He's back to pounding on the podium and talking about how PARTISAN this bill is. (Maybe he REALLY doesn't remember all the reaching out Obama did.) I'm waiting for him to bring out "Joe the Plumber" to prove his point.

2. Is he actually
sticking around for the vote? I thought he was going to Germany? McCain really is ridiculous sounding when he uses that condescending tone, given all that has happened.

disjointed and even rambling at times. mccain should be the poster boy for untreated PTSD.

When we had Bush in the WH the contrast with McCain wasn't so big. But now we've been listening to an intelligent speaker for a few weeks--and the contrast is stark!

11. He gets on the media, but you know what I say? FUCK HIM. ANGRY Rant!
Edited on Fri Feb-06-09 01:49 PM by FormerDittoHead
I don't "respect" him or whatever. What he did forty fucking years ago is filed in the dept of who gives a shit we shouldn't have been in Vietnam to begin with. He doesn't get to bump in line, and as far as I'm concerned, he's just Mr. Loser Sour Grapes.

I'm getting tired of towing this bipartisan line. I didn't think it would work, and I was right. Everyone's talking about how Obama's got this master plan, and maybe he does, but as far as I'm concerned, the only thing I care about is that we get to WIN at the end, and they LOSE. They fucking lose like the Cretes lost to the Romans, and we fucking sow salt in their fields and they don't get to grow anything in it for thousands of years. They fucked us over up and down, back and forth for so many years. Do you think there was ever any talk about 'bipartisanship' from them? No. It was fuck you, get out, and the horse you rode in on and then they raped up blind.

And I wouldn't have really minded IF THEY WERE RIGHT, but they were WRONG. They were fucking wrong about everything. They weren't more honest. They weren't more moral. They weren't better managers. They weren't better financial managers. They lied us into a fucking war. ...and ask the people in New Orleans and Iraq how much Republicans care about "life".

So, I'm sorry that the Republicans today can't even talk about McCain as much as they do Palin, but he LOST. Now Senator, go live in one of those many giant houses your wife inherited, be a miserable old coot and shut the fuck up. I've heard it all before. You've got nothing to say I've haven't heard before. Not one fucking new idea. We tried that, we tried it all. We went there, did that and it didn't WORK. It's bullshit and I'm just so fucking tired of all of this shit...

to move to the center and help with the economic recovery.

That way they can claim some of the credit for it.

16. Reality
Old Man Mccain should be forced to remember how much Bush actully listened to Democrats and how much Obama has reached out.

Obama had spending for Infurstruce taken out to try to get them onboard but because Obama won't kiss Republicans asses and have more
Tax cuts for the wealthy He is the partisan one.

17. I think he caught the Limbaugh Bug...
He has so much influence, it seems, and he has to stick with the conservative program or Rush will call him out by name and ridule him as kissing Obama's butt (while WE all ridicule him for kissing RUSH'S butt). Just a guess.
