If you vote against the Recovery package that President Obama is urging be passed ASAP, I promise that you will no longer have my support in anything else that you might do politically anywhere, anytime. Perhaps you are not hurting, but many in California are. Just the PR earned by your words on the floor of the Senate demonstrates grandstanding on your part, and were not helpful whatsoever! Like our President stated, this is not a game.

It's time for Obama to send his bad cops up to Capitol Hill to explain to the senators just how badly this is going to end up for them if they don't help out the President. (I don't know if this actually happens, but it did on the West Wing when one of the staffers explained to a recalcitrant senator just how badly things would go for him on some of his favorite projects if he didn't get one of the President's favored bills passed. to her aide. I told the woman that I am very displeased with the Grandstanding, that the recovery package vote is not for gamesmanship and that just the PR alone on her words on the senate floor may have cost her my vote. She asked what my Zip code was.....
