Dallas hardware store offers Bush door greeter position
Elliot’s Hardware — a local Dallas hardware store — has “appealed to former President George W. Bush to spend his new-found retirement working as a part-time greeter at its Maple Avenue store.” “Our greeters are a legendary part of our customer service,” said Kyle Walters, Elliott’s Hardware president and CEO. “And we are offering the position to Mr. Bush in all sincerity. We think it would be a great fit for him as he settles back into life in Dallas.” If he chooses to take the position, Bush will enjoy company perks such as “a flexible part-time schedule (to allow travel to Crawford),” a parking space, and an employee discount.

13. There's a Payless Shoes just down the street from it
Maybe he could do part time in both places...cuz it's "uniquely Amurikan" to have more than one job..then he could go hire on at at one the seedy bars that is located between Payless Shoes and Elliot's--third shift, of course cuz he will be at Elliot's during the day and Payless in the evenings.

9. I know why
I live 5 minutes from the store, and right around corner is Parkland Hospital where Dallas' poorest residents go. They decide to go to the store, after a doctor's appointment, chimpy will have to answer them to their face.

10. So what do you think will happen if they let the Destroyer work there?
I'm willing to bet within 8 years, the store will either:

burn down
go bankrupt or otherwise go out of business
be plagued by a swarm of locusts
begin to stink of sulfur
literally transform into pure shit when Bush so much as touches a wall

11. Good luck to Elliot's trying to keep their new greeter out of the Maple Ave bars

I imagine he would spend most of his time across the street at Rosita's Restaurant downing 'ritas.

What the article leaves out is the store is deep in the 'hood. My bus goes by it each morning cuz I work in that 'hood :-)
And given the store's location, I'm amazed it stays in business.
