Since when do Republicans do weekly video addresses?
Steele questions if Democrats' power has gone to their heads:

(CNN) – Michael Steele, the chairman of the Republican National Committee, questioned whether Democrats’ power “has gone to their heads.”

In the weekly Republican address, Steele said of Congressional Democrats:

"For the last two weeks, they've been trying to force a massive spending bill through Congress under the guise of economic relief.”

Steele said Republicans are ready to work with “reasonable Democrats to do what is right for America,” but he charged the Republican ideas have not been included.

"Good ideas — lots of them — all left out of this plan by the Democrats in Congress,” he said.

5. Do you think maybe Repukes interpret Obama's bipartisanship as weakness they can trample on?
I'm wondering what you and anyone else thinks of that.

8. They're trying to copy the Dems.' winning strategy. They think if they put out their old, stale
message in a "21st century way" it will attract more people. They still don't get that their problem is their message-not how they DELIVER it or WHO delivers it.

12. What is his role...really?
I thought he would be looking for GOP candidates for 2010 and raising money? Seems as if he's just trying to pick fights with the Dems and the President and nobody is responding. He needs to tap dance his ass someplace to find some candidates. Fuck off Steele!

13. I guess since President Obama started doing it
Obama changed the weekly radio address to the weekly radio and YouTube address, and I guess the Republicans have decided to follow suit.

14. Democrats have always had a response to the president bush's weekly address. It's
nothing new. I think people just stopped listening to both addresses at the end of the administration.
