You would think this is the only jobs package that will ever pass the congress.

Patience Grasshoppers... I see a strategy.

You can only spend money so fast.

RUSHlican's scream and whine about MORE TAX CUTS, LESS SPENDING.
So, give them some tax cuts, balanced with spending that makes some jobs.
Somethings, yes, get cut for now.

Fast Forward, say, three months.

The statistics show that spending on Jobs is helping, tax cuts do squat.

By this time, Sen Franken will be seated, and one or two of the RUSHlican's will
'see the light' when the people in their states pound on them.

That's part of what I mean, 'bank bailout' don't work. So to do something, they need
'a new plan'. Consider this.

Gov't gives you (consumer) $X,000 of 'vouchers' (or some such). These
can ONLY be used to pay off consumer debt. Mortgages, Credit Cards, etc....

You get debt relief. Banks get money. Double reduction with one set of
funds.
