i hope you are right, but the talking heads on tv are pretty good at trying to make it sound like obama has to do this because he is losing support for the bill. if he is losing support, it is because of the republican mouthpieces yakking about pork and earmarks that aren't even there!! and where are the 'newspeople' to counter that argument with the damned facts!! they don't. they don't report. they just let these blowhards flat out lie and don't even call them on it.
