1. His speech before taking questions was only 10 minutes or so
The question/answer period was expected to take much longer.

4. My wife, a lifelong Republican, just turned to me and said
Wow, he gives thoughtful, intelligent answers, doesn't he?

I replied that it's refreshing, when he's challenged with a question, you hear something other than a chuckle and an insult.

7. Epic fail on the OP's part...
His speech at the beginning was scheduled for 10 minutes. Guess what? He spoke for 10 minutes. The rest of the hour is dedicated to a Q&A session with the media. What, you expected the entire thing including the Q&A to be 10 mins? LOL.

I love it! A president that can speak in complete sentences!
He actually knows how to pronounce words correctly!
He actually addresses the American people (as well as the people of the world) in a dignified way!

Such a refreshing change.
