What I like best about having a President like Barack Obama.....
is that he makes the news pundit heads who think they know something (that they don't) seem really, really stupid.

I tried to watch the CNN pundits round table after the conference, and I just laughted.....cause most sounded like they still don't have as much of an inkling as they should that they are no longer dealing with a President with a midget size brain like in the last 8 years.

This President and the American People are in charge, not the cable chatter. Someone ought to break the news to them.

I wonder if the talking heads will catch up, after being used to abject stupidity in the oval office.

2. It will take some time, and even still, I don't think they have the smarts
to "catch up".

6. My hope is that we'll see a resurgence of newspaper and media using *actual* journalists -
you know, hiring back all the people they fired over the last three decades who were asking intelligent questions, writing exposes, doing some actual research and digging into stuff...

and that the journalism schools will now begin to require (again) that their graduates know English, that they know how to read and write, and that they know how to process information and dig for the truth and use language in a coherent way and not just for propaganda of the type that thinks asking the president "Did you pray over that?" or "If the democrats unpatriotically hold up this new legislation, will you have them quarantined?" and "Can I give you a blow job?" is all a journalist is supposed to do.

3. I loved that he corrected Chuck Todd's framing his question on "irresponsible consumer spending."
He explained in wonderful detail the evolution of this economic meltdown.

Todd is a d-bag.

4. they've gotten lazy and fat these last eight years
They might now actually have to do some homework. But I don't think CNN's standards are very high--if they can sensationalize something, that's all they are required to do.

I honestly never watch that network any more. It's either MSNBC, BBCA, CBS or PBS for me.

I couldn't agree more. I know there are some really dumb people in this country, but the American people aren't really as stupid as the Republicans and the MSM would love them to be. Yes, under Bush, collectively, we were DUMB, but now it is as if President Obama is giving Americans permission to be intelligent again. Americans may be the most highly propagandized people on earth, but we ain't stupid.

7. I love the way
he delves deeply into every subject...and you think he's strayed from the original guestion, that he's not going to address it...then he brings it back around and ties it up with a neat little bow.

Sound mind.

9. We can understand this President we don't need no stinking...
talking head to tell what he said and what to think. Of course the Repukes are lost in the wilderness w/o the talking head guidance.
