VERY proud of my governor Charlie Crist right now.
He gets it, even though he's a republican.
Hopefully soon the others will follow (wishful thinking).

1. Joe Smugborough won't like this...
:applause:

I have to admit. Crist doesn't give me the creeps like most republicans do.

2. You should be.
He's done the right thing here. A true patriot...for today at least.

3. Local pols are getting it much quicker than the DC crowd.
They are in the trenches, seeing what's happening to the people in their states and towns.

That was a wonderful introduction by Crist and I respect him for saying it.

4. And they are in the direct line of blame. When people get angry it
will be at the local leader who cannot do anything alone instead of the far away voter in DC. Most of the governors are recognizing that.

5. It's quite shocking to see a Republican acting responsibly,
caring about people over party.

6. I always crack up when I watch Crist... he flirts with the camera.
He purses his lips and looks longingly into the camera (or the person interviewing him if that is the case).

On a serious note, I'm glad to see him supporting our President.

9. The governors are watching the income side of the budget go down the toilet
while expenses continue to grow. They know civil unrest will eventually erupt if it gets too bad. They have to act, and this is the easiest and fastest thing to do. Plus, if it doesn't work, they can blame Obama.
