Introducing Obama and throwing his support behind the stimulus package is not only good policy, but good politics for him down the road.

2. I started figuring out that Crist was a decent guy when he extended Florida early voting...
...against the wishes of the rest of the party of course.

11. He gave a brief intro for Obama and ran from the stage.
He pointed out that he balanced the Florida budget without raising taxes. I see him as part of the group that wants Obama to fail. Seems like a courtesy appearance today with Obama.

end of the campaign.

6. he has cut the florida budget completely for the peasants and this
stimulus money is the only thing for the people - crist supports private schools monies, and his buddies and his second in command running around on government planes or taking junkets to other places and us paying for it - he has very little money for the ordinary person - that has to come from Fed because he like Gropenator and other republican governors have cut everything

10. To his credit, he usually knows when to put party aside.
Unlike the former gov (I'm tired of saying his name), who was exhaulted in Ronald Reagan style by Republicans but despised by most Democrats, he'll usually do the right thing when common sense tells him to do the right thing.

The downside is that this makes him pretty popular on both sides of the aisle and getting a Dem in the Governor's seat in 2010 is going to be a pretty tall order. But hey, after eight years of the most dispicable, corrupt and disgusting political figure in the country spare perhaps Dick Cheney, he's a refereshing change.
