Mitch "Doofus" McConnell Making Incomprehensible Vocalizations on MSNBC
Edited on Tue Feb-10-09 02:16 PM by Avalux
The essence seems to be that by passing the stimulus bill, govt. spending will take up more GDP and resemble - the horror! - Western Europe!

Translate that to mean "liberal socialism".

This is the running theme of today for Republicans. They are such sorry asses.

14. Still Rovian politics. Attack your enemy's strengths. One of Obama's strengths is transparency,
thus, they attack against it and try to make him fall weak against his own implementation. They will fail epically, just as they did in gaining bi-partisan support for the opposition to this bill!

13. They are desperately trying to hold onto their failed ideology.
Edited on Tue Feb-10-09 02:39 PM by Avalux
And I really think they don't have a clue how unpopular they are with the public, or that it even matters. The alternative is to give in and work with Obama and that will never happen.

15. Why do these Republic cretins keep running up to the mike
so they can fling themselves on swords of their own making?

I prefer self-immolation as a superior attention getter, but actually getting up in front of the nation and explaining to its citizens why you as a politician voted against jobs and economic recovery, comes as a close second.
