19. Lincoln was asked that very question. His response was interesting:
"They can only kill me once. And I wouldn't miss a chance to meet the lovely Michelle Obama. And her husband, too, of course."

I don't either
She should stick to dresses that are more form-fitting. This does not flatter her at all.

I do like seeing President Obama with "President Lincoln," though.

12. I agree.
I usually love her choice of clothing, but this dress looked like something out of the 50s. Did she have on several crinolines to make the dress pouffy?

16. Minor adjustment, and it would be really cute
If the waist was dropped to the level of a true retro 50s circle skirt it would be very flattering.

21. Agreed ... not flattering at all.
It looks cocktail party-ish, not Ford's Theatre gala. The fabric looks interesting, though. Mrs. Obama has worn some stunners, but this is a dud.

She is to tall for a dress like that.

The dress makes her look like she is all legs.

46. Fashion is so subjective.
Edited on Thu Feb-12-09 04:44 PM by Phx_Dem
We can't please everyone and we shouldn't try -- everyone should just wear what they like. And I think that's what Michelle does, so regardless of who likes or does not like her fashion choices, good for her for doing her own thing!
