1. I'm sure GOP pressured Gregg to get out, all in line with undermining Obama

11. You are probably correct. The republicans are so afraid of President Obama,
there is no telling how low they will go. Very tacky of Gregg not to speak with the President first.

Like you say, anything to undermine President Obama.

5. Obama will be fine.
Gregg looks bad and Obama looks like a reasonable man who lived up to his promise to include Republicans in his cabinet.

This is a win/win for Obama.

4. Republicans are all about class.
Edited on Thu Feb-12-09 04:48 PM by Phx_Dem
The polls are showing -- in a pretty big way -- that the public thinks Obama has tried to be bi-partisan and the GOP has rejected his efforts. This is just going to be one more notch in Obama's belt and another black mark for the No-Party.

6. The bad thing is that it takes away from Obama's message. This will take away from his
victory...at least in the media's narrative. They're calling it "a serious blow."

9. Running scared, the republicans can't even go face to face
with the Obama administration. Just heard on MSNBC that Obama's favorables are up to 59% (up from 52%).

12. The scum-sucking neocon criminals....
....are worried as hell that a man of integrity, honesty and character just might
change Washington, DC--and make their revolting brand of political thuggery--a thing
of the past.

So, they attempt to squelch any sort of rational and decent behavior.

We can't have people being healthy and diplomatic--and actually governing like
adults can we?

The monsters don't want to let any light in. They're all about the darkness and
they'll do anything to continue their despicable status quo.
