for top 1%--as well as the seemingly unending war and occupation of Iraq.

The House is debating the stimulus bill on C-Span.

1. All those gopholes suffer from selective memory loss.
Their hypocrisy is sickening.

2. don't forget we also bankrupted SSI and medicare for
"the 'Haves' and "Have-mores'"
So when talk of cutting SSI and medicare begins (and it will soon) you can think that your old age safety net was sacrificed to give some trust fund baby another Lexus.

3. And we borrowed from China for TARP while Junior was still on the throne.
Any time a Republican says 'tax and spend Democrats' I want to poke them with a cattle prod.

4. WOW! Democratic Congress critter from OH just told the Repugs that they
didn't bat an eye when they voted for roads and bridges and universal health care for Iraq. He asked why the Repugs are turning their backs on Americans.

He gave them a dose of their own medicine. LOL

5. Never, NEVER, let any winger remark about deficits go without such a rebuttal
One of my new goals: Keep nipping at their delusions until they either get it or are just too tired of being met with facts to open their lying yaps.

They are all 'so worried about where they {DEMS and that black guy they hate but won't admit to hating} are taking us with all this spending'. But we didn't hear a fucking peep outta them when it was the drunken pretend cowboy and his GOP cohorts running up the biggest deficits in history on a war that was a lie and tax cuts for the top.

Fuck em. I am not letting ANY remark from their ilk go unchallenged! They were fine with spending on death/destruction/fat cats who don't need help, but they parrot crap if there is a chance regular people, LIKE THEM, might get a benefit or some infrastructure might get fixed!

10. Me either, much to my financial detriment. But dammit, I WON'T let them get away with their
revisionist history!

I don't initiate any discussions of politics at my shop but when a mouth breathing repuke keeps coming in and grunting about the stimulus being "welfare" and other stupidity, I will not allow it to go unchallenged.

Shouting match was satisfying in an odd way, if loud. :)

9. Their Supreme God Ronnie Raygun was the king of red ink
In fact all the Republican presidents in recent history have presided over budget deficits. The devil himself Bill Clinton managed to keep the budget in the black. But oh he was the worst! The hypocrisy of these people is disgusting.
