2. But how can the Young guy "take credit" for something he voted against?
Young boasted that he "won a victory for the Alaska Native contracting program"?????

3. I wrote this on the other thread....
There is simply no level too low for these people. They talk to people who are dumb and uninformed. How anybody can stand up and smile and talk about how their state and constituents will benefit from something they voted against is just plain crazy!

10. That's truly mind boggling. How are they going to erase the tapes
of their "no" votes? You know if the stim works well the Republicans will be campaigning on it.

12. The late, great Molly Ivins called that "Grammstanding."
Phil Gramm (R-Texas) had a habit of voting against programs that benefited anyone who made less than $1 mil./year. Then, when the bill passed without his vote, he would take credit and use the bill to show how much he cared for "real Texans" when he needed their votes to get re-elected.

I's called Grammstanding, and it's disgusting.

The United States is a LIBERAL Country.

13. When one of these idiots
comes out and encourages his/her state to decline any money from the Stimulus then I will stop calling them hypocritical douchebags.

"Stimulus bad. Give us the money," so says the GOP Congress.

15. Oh Frenchie, that was as predictable as the sun rising and setting.
Which is why part two of the stimulus bill is so important; making sure every American knows what the stimulus is being spent on.

The website is good, but I'm talkin' big ol' signs at construction sites, commercials, etc.
