What's In The Stimulus Package, You Ask? Here's a good rundown via The New York Times....

Go here for a good look at what's in the $787 billion stimulus bill that will soon be signed into law on Monday by President Obama. A quick summary shows there will be monies allocated in the following categories:

:redbox: ENERGY AND ENVIRONMENT: The Bill Smiles on Power Programs

:bluebox: SCIENCE: Research and Development Aid Restored

:redbox: SAFETY NET: For the Needy, a Variety of Help

:bluebox: EDUCATION: Schools Get Large Infusion of Money

:redbox: HEALTH: More Money for Medicaid and the Jobless

:bluebox: TAXES: Cuts for Individuals and Businesses

:redbox: INFRASTRUCTURE: A Victory, and a Setback, for Obama

President Obama managed to pass this landmark stimulus bill in under a month of entering office. There's much more for Democrats
to accomplish. Barack will need our full support in the years ahead to prevail in the face of Republican obstructionism, so I hope there
will be less sniping and hand wringing here as time goes on.

But for now, it's time to celebrate.
