At least he seems to be playing with us in the sandbox. The other GOPs aren't.

2. Obama, it seems, has dropped the idea of a rethug for this
position.

Senior Obama officials portrayed the latest personnel debacle as reflecting badly on Gregg alone, insisting they are still on course to change the tone in Washington and implement the president’s policies. But aides acknowledged that it is now clear that Obama has not been rewarded for reaching across the aisle, and they said he feels no imperative to replace Gregg with another Republican.

3. Crist at least isn't
hypocritical about it. His state is in trouble and needs the money. I don't see the other GOP ideologs taking the stand that they will refuse any Stimulus money for their state.

While they are ranting againt Obama and the Democrats they will have their hands outstretched for any money they can get.

5. As a Floridian I'm pretty happy with Crist. He has thrown out most of
Jeb's crap which is fine by me.

7. The Repigs have too much info on Crist. They would bury him politically.

8. Crist would be a good pick, but I think he's going to run for Martinez's Sen. seat.
That's the "chatter" I've been hearing, anyhow.

I like Crist, though. He seems genuinely interested in Pres. Obama's bipartisan outreach.
