5 columnists join the President on AF1 (MoDo must be curled up in a fetal position)

I have little doubt MoDo will have some real snark to dish out tomorrow since she didn't get included.

Hopefully, though, she'll save her fire for the whining "Just Say No" Repubs.

Anway, I happen to think this is an excellent strategy:

According to one columnist, it was a very last minute invite from the White House (around 8 p.m. Thursday).

Those invited include the Chicago Tribune's Clarence Page, the New York Times's Bob Herbert, the Atlantic's Ron Brownstein, and the Washington Post's EJ Dionne and Kathleen Parker.

piece that said she longed for bush's grunts when describing Obama as long winded in his first Presser..paraphrasing.

And, Brownstein use to write for the L.A. Times, didn't he? He was always carrying bush water..probably still does.

I have a friend who loves her columns, but I could never stomach them. Dowd tries too hard to be clever, is often blatantly unkind, and attempts a gossipy tone that tries to sound sophisticated but falls on its face.
