This is what it looks like when a President succeeds.
Within 30 days Obama got passed an overwhelmingly good piece of legislation.

The Republicans are being mocked as out of touch in the popular culture.

We have really won.

1. And by "We", it is all of America - not just Obama supporters.
Sometimes you even need to help those who don't want it, or don't realize they need it. The Republicans in this country may never come around to appreciating it, but they are going to get lifted up as well. (whether We - as in DU/pro Obama We - like it or not!)

3. And as important is that they lost by dint of their own petard

During the Bush administration we lost because they shut us out and changed the rules willy-nilly to obstruct the Democrats at every turn. They silenced us, catapulted the propaganda and ignored our massive public protests, dismissing them as 'focus groups', and they took our rights away.

Now they lose because they refuse to be inclusive and be a part of the new administration. They lose because they chose to obstruct everything without consideration of any merits it may have.

Again they're the ones choosing their actions. They could easily choose to have a win-win mentality, but their bosses simply can't wrap their brains around the concept of what's best, not just what's to their advantage.
